Quinta das Mestras, also known as Quinta das Lameiras, is located in the village of Santar, a place of recognized oenological value.
The 15 ha property has 5 vineyard plots, planted between 1994 and 1996, with a total area of approximately 7 ha.
The unique sun exposure: south / west, the altitude of the plantation between 350/370, the granitic and sandy composition of the soil, the natural surroundings composed of orchards, white and olive groves and the high water resource, constitute unique conditions for the production of grapes and wines of outstanding quality.
The governmental experience of planting an experimental field of autochthonous varieties, monitored until 2000, attests to the Viticultural Excellence of the Quinta das Mestras.
Throughout the history of the property, which dates back to the beginning of the last century, the purpose of the exploration was the production of grapes and wines PDO Dão.
